COVID-19- Update

Dear Explorers & Carishina Team,

The Government of the Republic of Ecuador declared a national emergency on March 11th in order to contain and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

As you know we have been monitoring the development of the status of this situation daily. As of June 1st the government of Ecuador has reopened limited air arrivals nad departures at Quito & Guayaquil international airports. There are strict safety & self-quarantine protocols for international visitors in place at this time.

As you might understand this has directly impact the Ancestral Wisdom Tour 2020 and all Carishina expeditions during the time of Ecuador’s State of Emergency and all passengers who are arriving to visit all regions of Ecuador.

For this reason, I have spoken with many of you today & Hilda our host from the AWT 2020 scheduled initially for April postponed the AWT 2020 and other travel events until further notice or at least until the Ecuadorian Government allows free circulation in Ecuador.

Please know that the Carishina team which is 100% Ecuadorian-American, woman owned entrepreneurship supports the measures taken by the Ecuadorian Government to protect people from harm and spread of this virus that is heavily impacting the way we live and travel.

I have also spoken with many of you and I am in awe of the kind words of support and encouragement. I am so thankful to work with all of you and I appreciate your desire of travelling to Ecuador is still strong. Please take note of the following measures Carishina will take on this regard:

• Your investment with Carishina is secure and we will honor your travel plans when time allows after the emergency period ends.

• You are entitled to a refund as our terms & conditions state. However, since this is a Force Maejure event please take note there will be a 300.00 USD fee for full refunds.

• Please contact your travel agent, airline & insurance agencies to reschedule & credit/ refund your flight itinerary and insurance coverage.

• We will keep communication lines open and will provide update for new travel dates.
