Carishina

Carishina is a Kichwa- Ecuadorian word that was created after colonization. Through time the word has gained different meanings and connotations. The word is used to describe an individual who behave like men. In contemporary times, a women who breaks traditional cultural expectations and roles. We celebrate the rebels, the explorers, the free spirits. We hope to give this word a new meaning and making it a rebellious way of living and exploring. This exploratory space will allow all visitors to learn more about the world and relevant topics on culture, folklore, diversity and identity.

Meet Andrea. Founder of Carishina.

At Carishina, we bring together people who love exploring new places and learning about different cultures.

Through our community, we aim to spark curiosity and promote cultural education. We believe that by understanding and appreciating diverse cultures, we can make the world a better place. Our goal is to break barriers and taboos, and show you the beauty of different traditions and ways of life. We focus on the simple things that make life extraordinary.

We can't wait to share our journeys with you and inspire you to go out and discover the world for yourself.

See you soon! - Andrea
